奥运圣火,自1936年在全球传递以来,它所承载的奥林匹克精神在世界各个角落广泛传播,然而却从未传递到世界屋脊。2001年7月13日,中国向国际奥委会庄严承诺:永恒不息的奥运火炬将登上地球最高峰,从而达到一个新高度。为了兑现这重于千斤的承诺,2008年4月20日,国家体育总局北京奥运会火炬接力珠峰传递赴藏工作组带着无数关怀与重托,向着目的地进发,王雷便是其中一员。
Since its global transmission in 1936, the Olympic flame has been widely circulated in all corners of the world since it was carried by the Olympic flame. However, it has never been transmitted to the roof of the world. On July 13, 2001, China solemnly promised to the International Olympic Committee that the eternal Olympic torch will ascend to the highest point in the earth and reach a new height. April 20, 2008, the General Administration of Sport of Beijing Olympic Games torch relay Everest mission to Tibet with countless care and trust, toward the destination, Wang Lei is one of them.
