Seminar教学范式最早于18世纪在德国的大学产生,后来,在20世纪80年代美国高等教育改革中成为一项重要改革措施。Seminar教学范式旨在为学生提供综合性的、跨学科的和有深度的大学学习体验,强调学生不但要成为知识的接受者,而且要成为知识的探索者、创造者。本文将Seminar教学范式应用在商务英语案例教学中,发现对商务英语教学具有十分重要的功效:它能促进学生实践能力的发展,促进学生的自主学习,激发探究知识的热情,加强研究型人才的培养。
The Seminar teaching paradigm was first produced in a German university in the 18th century and later became an important reform measure in the American higher education reform in the 1980s. The Seminar teaching paradigm aims to provide students with a comprehensive, interdisciplinary and in-depth university learning experience, emphasizing that students not only become recipients of knowledge, but also become explorers and creators of knowledge. This article applies the Seminar teaching paradigm in business English case teaching and finds that it has the very important effect to the business English teaching: It can promote the student practical ability development, promotes the student’s independent study, stimulates the enthusiasm to search knowledge, strengthens the research talent to cultivate.
