插图是教材的第二语言。苏教版小学语文教材中的插图丰富多彩、生动活泼,对课文的内容或主题起到了很好的补充说明、拓展延伸的作用。在教学中,教师应充分挖掘并合理利用这些插图,引导学生捕捉其中丰富的文字信息,领悟这一特殊的艺术语言,在对话、交流、理解、记忆等训练中培养学生的观察、想象和思维能力,提高学生的阅读水平,让语文课堂教学更加精彩。
