梁斌,河北蠡县人,一九一四年生,一九二六年参加共产主义青年团,一九三七年加入中国共产党。早在学生时代,梁斌就受了革命的影响,他亲身参加的一九三二年的保定二师的学潮和同年爆发的高蠡暴动,对他的影响尤深。参加革命后,他长期从事文化工作和地方工作。一九四五至一九四七年先后担任中共县委宣传部长、副书记等职。全国解放后,曾任中共地委宣传部长;从事专业创作后,任河北省文联副主席、全国作协理事等职。梁斌早在青年时代,就一边工作,一边从事文学创作。一九三五年,他以故乡的高蠡
