个人档案:阿罗约,1947年生于马尼拉,已故菲律宾前总统马卡帕加尔的长女。1968年,阿罗约在美国乔治敦大学攻读外交事务和国际金融专业。克林顿是她要好的同学。2004年她当选菲律宾总统。个人魅力:娇小中带有霸气,菲律宾人喜欢。当选原因:民众不满前政府的腐败,当然阿罗约家庭的既富且贵的背景帮助甚大。面临困难:反对派掀起的阵阵风浪是否能够让她持续到2010年任期届满。
Personal file: Arroyo, born in Manila in 1947, the eldest daughter of the late Philippine former President Macapagal. In 1968, Arroyo studied foreign affairs and international finance at Georgetown University in the United States. Clinton is her good classmate. In 2004 she was elected president of the Philippines. Personal Charm: Petite with domineering, Filipinos love. Election reasons: people dissatisfied with the government before the corruption, of course, Arroyo family rich and expensive background to help a great deal. Facing Difficulties: Can the buzzing waves created by the opposition allow her to continue until the 2010 term expires?
