APC announced on August 3 that it has introduced a new power protection product, the Symmetra ™ Power Array ™ (Power Array ™), the first power protection system with scalability and fault tolerance 4KVA-16KVA capacity between the flexible configuration, especially for multi-server and business-critical applications. Just as with clustered and RAID technology servers and storage devices, the Symmetra Power Array uses power modules for high system availability and flexible upgradeability. In the event of a failure on another UPS, the system is UPS-protected during repair or replacement of equipment and the Symmetra Power Array only needs to replace the failed module during which UPS normally provides power protection similar to a disk array.
