This article describes a method for the determination of trace strontium in silicate rocks by flameless atomic absorption spectrometry. The test parameters selected by the experiment are as follows: The interference of strontium signals on elements such as potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, silicon, aluminum, phosphorus, gallium, manganese, titanium, copper, zinc, nickel and lead was studied. These disturbances can be eliminated by adding lanthanum oxide to both the standard and the sample and adding aluminum trichloride to the standard.
