自20世纪80年代以来,中国的大学写作教学基本经过了三个大的阶段:第一个阶段是普遍开设基础写作课,其教材与教学框架,以刘锡庆的《基础写作知识》为主体;第二个阶段是分化和各行其是,即一部分学校取消了写作课,另一部分学校或仍坚持上基础写作或另辟蹊径上秘书写作、文学写作之类的课程;第三个阶段是以应用、实用文体为中心的注重实际写作能力培养与训练的教学阶段。几番经历与曲折,多番改革与探索,使我们对新时期的写作教学有了一个较全面的认知与反思:大学写作教学构筑新的框架体系非常有必要。新的框架体系的建立还基于以下两点认识:
