“教育发展,教师为本”。乡镇农村学校的小学教师是农村学校中比较庞大的群体,他们面对的是最基层的农村小学生。农村小学生素质的全面提高,是国民素质提高的最广大的基础,而乡镇小学教师素质的优劣正是决定这个基础的关键。所以,提高乡镇小学教师各方面的素质,使他们具有高尚的师德、渊博的科学文化知识、不断更新的教育教学理念和先进的教育教学方法是个重大的课题。一、当前乡镇农村小学教师队伍自身素质存在的主要问题当前,虽然乡镇农村小学教师通过师资培训和校本培训相结合,整体素质有了明显的提高,但是其总体情况仍然不适应21世纪乡镇农村小学实施素质教育、提高乡镇农村小学教育质量和办学水平的需要。主要表现如下:

Therefore, it is a major issue to improve the quality of all aspects of primary and secondary school teachers in villages and towns so that they will have noble ethics, profound scientific and cultural knowledge, constantly updated concepts of education and teaching, and advanced education and teaching methods. I. Main Problems Existing in the Quality of Rural Elementary School Teachers in Towns and Township At present, though the primary school teachers in rural areas in rural areas have obviously improved their overall quality through the combination of teacher training and school-based training, their overall situation still does not meet the requirements of the rural primary schools in the 21st century Carrying out quality education and improving the quality of primary education in townships and rural areas and the need of running a school.
