根据归纳出的建立蓄水拦沙指标体系的基本思路和原则,结合黄土丘陵沟壑区第一、二副区的自然环境要素和社会经济情况,分别建立了丘一区和丘二区水土保持措施的蓄水拦沙指标体系,其中淤地坝的拦泥指标与坝地面积建立了指数函数关系。将所建蓄水拦沙指标体系应用于属于丘一区的三川河流域,计算结果表明,20世纪70年代以来三川河流域水土保持措施蓄水拦沙效益较为显著,尤其是80年代和90年代,其拦沙效益和蓄水效益大幅度提高,这与水土保持措施工程量的增长幅度基本一致,与实际情况比较接近。但所建指标体系的适用性还需作进一步的检验。
