我叫郭素英,现任教于山西省翼城县南梁中心小学西堡完小,担任六年级班主任并教数学。我1990年参加教育工作,从事小学教育18年,当班主任也整整18年,教过的学生达千余名。18年来,我坚持每学期对班里的每个学生至少进行一次家访,估算起来,走了两万多公里的山路。在我的多方面努力下,所教的学生无一人失学,无一人掉队,巩固率、合格率达100%,优秀率平均达30%以上。
My name is Guo Suying and I currently teach in Westlake Central Primary School, Yicheng County, Shanxi Province, and finished as a sixth-grade teacher and taught math. I took part in education in 1990, engaged in primary education for 18 years, and the on-duty director for a full 18 years, teaching more than a thousand students. For 18 years, I insisted that there should be at least one visit to each student in the class every semester. It is estimated that more than 20,000 kilometers of mountain roads have been taken. Under my many efforts, none of the students taught have dropped out of school, no one has left behind and the consolidation rate has reached 100% pass rate and the excellent rate has averaged 30% or above.
