第八届首尔车展在京畿道高阳市韩国国际展览中心(KINTEX)正式开幕,本届车展以“进化,车轮上的绿色革命(Evolution,GreenRevolution on Wheels)”为主题,有来自8个国家的139家企业参加,参观人数达100万人次以上,这也成为历届首尔车展规模最大的一次。与往年不同的是,整车企业今年将着重展示新车、概念车、环保汽车等车型,以此来展现各大厂商最新的产品动态和技术研发成果。本次车展展出54款新车,亚洲首发车型达22款,其中现代HCD-12、起亚K5混合动力车、两厢科鲁兹、科帕奇(SUV)、双龙SUT-1、宝马650i敞篷车、迷你cooper S Clubman、保时捷918RSR、克莱斯勒新300c、福特新Explorer、标致新508HDi等车型亮相车展。同时备受瞩目的现代HND-6,起亚KND-6韩国GM Miray,雷诺三星SM7及大宇大巴BC211M等新车也集体展出。本次车展同时举办以“汽车产业的变化和展望”为主题的世界汽车CEC砣坛,宝马汽车销售总监罗伯森、通用海外事业部社长TimothyE Lee、Mahindra副会长等出席本次论坛。此外,大会还举办“环保型汽车试驾活动”、“信息通信国际研讨会”、“全国大学生自制汽车大会”、“伞国大学生汽车设计大赛”、“UCC大赛”及“车展最佳汽车奖”等活动丰富展会内容。
