目前,开展角膜移植手术的最大障碍是角膜的来源问题。角膜疾病又是我国当今致盲的主要原因之一。其中有相当一部分病人需要行角膜移植手术进行治疗。穿透角膜移植一般需要新鲜尸体角膜或保存有活性的角膜。但是,临床上往往遇到一些情况,如角膜溃疡引起的后弹力层膨出、穿孔等病例,急需新鲜角膜时,常因得不到移植材料而丧失手术时机。几年来,我们在用干燥、脱水法保存的角膜行板层角膜移植的同时,为了挽救眼球,在无新鲜角膜的紧急情况下,用这种保存角膜也进行了穿透角膜移植术的尝试,收到了预想的结果。
