读书有精读,略读、速读。从教学上说,精读是主体,略读是补充;从学生实益上说,精读是准备、是基础,略读是应用,速读是提高。精读,就是精心的阅读。它有三个突出的特点:自读、细读、深思。精读作为教学的主体,具有阅读心理和作用上的意义。学生读好一篇文章,大体要经过三个阶段;一、概览(初读);二、深究(精读);三、融会贯通(有感情朗读)。而精读则是经历思考、理解、记忆、消化这几个有价值的心理过程。通过精读训练,为朗读、默读、背诵打好基础,也为略读、速读打好基础。为学生今后读多一些、长一些、深一些的文章作准备。精读对于学习语言、发展思维、思想教育、良好读书习惯的培养都有很大的作用。精读应采用什么形式?大声朗读,象齐读、分组读、分合读等,受到了声音要大,速度要齐、快的牵制,显然不利于思考、记忆、消化。如果采用默读呢?则又容易出现粗泛、马虎的毛病。有些教师采用轻声慢读的形式,取得了很好的效果。轻声,不 Reading intensive, skimming, speed reading.
