在山区、矿山使用的大吨位载重汽车,由于制动器的负荷过大常引起制动器过热,严重地影响制动性能。有些矿区汽车经常要满载下坡,在长坡道上频繁制动;在这种恶劣条件下制动器蹄片更易烧焦,从而严重地影响汽车行驶安全性。在大吨位的载重汽车上增置辅助制动器可减轻汽车车轮制动器的负荷。很多的大吨位载重汽车上利用了减速制动器,在汽车行驶中降低汽车的行驶速度,改善车轮制动器的使用条件。本刊为了配合该结构设计的需要,介绍了两篇液力减速器的文章,供有关方面参考。
In mountainous areas, large tonnage trucks used in mines cause overheating of the brakes due to overload of the brakes, which seriously affects the braking performance. Some mining cars often have to go downhill full load, frequent braking on long ramps; under such harsh conditions, brake shoes are more susceptible to scorching, which can seriously affect vehicle safety. The addition of auxiliary brakes to large tonnage trucks reduces the load on the car’s wheel brakes. Many large tonnage trucks make use of deceleration brakes to reduce the car’s travel speed and improve the service conditions of the wheel brakes.
