基诺族聚居于云南省西双版纳傣族自治州景洪县基诺乡及其附近地区。基诺族有自己的语言,属汉藏语系藏缅语族彝族支,无本民族文字。基诺族人普遍喜好饮酒,民间有不可一日无酒的说法。他们所饮用的酒大都是自家用大米或玉米酿制而成的。在酿制的过程中,通常要加一些锁梅叶等植物。酿出的酒呈浅绿色,并带有一种植物的自然香味,据说有健脾强身的功效。基诺山是著名的产茶区,驰名中外的普饵茶是当地的特产。
The Jinuo people live in and around the Jian’en Township, Jinghong County, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Jino has its own language, which belongs to the Tibetan-Burmese Yi ethnic group in the Sino-Tibetan language family, without any national language. Jinuo people generally like to drink alcohol, there are civil non-alcoholic one can not say. Most of the wine they drink is made from rice or corn. In the brewing process, usually add some locks plum and other plants. The wine is light green in color with a natural fragrance of plant that is said to have the effect of invigorating the spleen. Kenuo Hill is famous tea-producing area, famous bait tea is a local specialty.
