An overview of the basic issues to consider when designing your talkband MODEM. Introduced a kind of MODEM which is designed by common DSP, and discussed the design method and block diagram of the corresponding control program, modulation and demodulation program, and designed a simple and practical handshake protocol. Finally, further analysis of the characteristics of this MODEM and its application prospects.
