The second part of the IRIS project is intended to show how IRIS affected earthquake science. The best way to do this is to find some examples. We invite IRIS members to ask for a persuasive aspect of their job and concentrate on one page of paper. In addition, we have also selectively invited some scientists to write review articles that reflect their personal opinion of IRIS. We have organized the content into Volumes II, which broadly cover areas where IRIS has a significant impact. Seismological discoveries are almost always the result of new observations, some even unexpected. These brief contributions, with their incontestable facts and suppositions, have resolved the unanswered scientific debate and inspired many new theoretical models.
