公安部有关部门负责人5月9日提醒广大群众:警惕非法传销,增强防范意识,不要相信任何可通过参与传销快速致富的谎言。这位负责人指出,当前尤其需要注意的是,非法传销的组织形式比过去更加严密,活动方式更加隐蔽,一些传销组织已明显具有黑社会性质组织特征。据了解,目前参与这些非法传销活动的多为下岗工人、农民等低收入者,甚至还包括一些党政机关干部和在校学生。
The head of the relevant department of the Ministry of Public Security reminded the masses on May 9: Beware of illegal pyramid selling, raise awareness of prevention and do not believe any lie that can get rich quick by participating in pyramid selling. The official pointed out that at present it is especially important to note that the forms of illicit pyramid schemes are more stringent than those in the past, and the ways of activities are more subtle. Some pyramid schemes organizations have obviously been characterized by triad-style organizations. It is understood that most of these illegal pyramid selling activities are mostly laid-off workers and peasants and other low-income earners, and even include some party and government cadres and school students.
