能够获得第三届全国百佳电视艺术工作者的光荣称号,应该说,王海平是得益于多年来在电视纪录片领域的不懈耕耘。还是在上个世纪80年代,他拍的电视纪录片《保定老人印象》,就受到了电视界的广泛关注。近些年来,他担任编导的大型文献纪录片《周恩来》、《新中国从这里走来》等,又连续荣获“五个一工程奖”、“金鹰奖”等奖项。在记者刚刚打算让他就这些创作谈一谈时,不料他却先说起了插队的经历。
