2003年2月19日-20日,全省新闻出版工作会议暨出版集团经济工作会议在南昌召开。省政府副省长赵智勇、省政协副主席刘运来出席会议。2002年,在省委、省政府的领导下,全省新闻出版各项工作取得了显著成绩,新闻出版事业得到了持续快速健康发展。2002年,全省新闻出版系统实现销售收入42.7亿元。其中出版集团实现销售收入26.9亿元,国有资产保值增值率达113%,固定资产投资1.21亿元。新闻出版业已成为加快江西经济发展的一支重要力量。在2002年的新闻出版工作中,我省新闻出版系统涌现了一批先进单位和先进个人:荣获全国五一劳动奖状和全国十六大文件印制工作先进集体的江西新华印刷厂,荣获全国十六大文件发行
