台湾一萧姓学者曾向内地提出质询,认为中国百家姓中,从来没有肖姓,只有一个萧姓。之所以在大陆出现肖姓,是因为把萧字简化了。这位学者指出,姓氏不能乱简化,若简化了,本来一家就变成两家了。
A Xiaoxing scholar from Taiwan once questioned the mainland. He believes that among the 100 surnames in China, there has never been a Xiao surname and only one surname is Xiao. The reason why Shaw surname appeared on the mainland is because the Xiao character has been simplified. The scholar pointed out that the family name cannot be simplified and simplified.
