华盛顿当地时间11月3日,美国总统布什宣布美国人度过了一个“漫长而伟大”的夜晚。在这个夜晚,布什力克克里,世界上最强大的工业国家的选举噪音戛然而止。在地球的另一面,离华盛顿有半个赤道之遥的中国江西省南康市木塘村的一丛竹林后,是村民袁昌新师傅破陋的家。布什连任的消息传遍世界的时候,对于袁师傅来说,这只是初冬一个普通的早晨。2003年夏我在赣南访问这位乡村民意代表的时候,他家只有一个效果很差的破而小的电视机。
