初中数学新大纲指出:“数学教学要通过实习作业和探究性活动,积极引导学生将所学知识应用于实际,从数学角度对某些日常生活、生产和其他学科中出现的问题进行研究,或者对某些数学问题进行深入探讨,并在其中充分体现学生的自主性和合作精神。”这要求我们在初中数学教学中,不仅要加强对学生基础知识、基本技能的教育,而且必须培养学生的实践能力、自主学习能力和探究数学规律的科学精神,使学生学会用数学思想和数学方法去分析和解决实际问题。
