煤矿井下的联系信号一般要求声光兼备。多年来采用的是由防爆按钮、防爆电铃、防爆白炽灯和防爆电话机组成的信号通讯系统。由于所用器材多,使得安装困难、使用维护不便。近年来又有综合电铃问世,该电铃虽然把电铃按钮、白炽灯综合为一体,但没有解决两点或多点的通讯联络问题,工作方式也落后,使用效果不尽人意。焦作矿务局电子设备厂设计试制的BYGX—1型语言声光通讯机解决了上述信号装置存在的问题。
