Because of the high labor costs added, the price in the Japanese construction market is much higher than in the international market. The only solution is to import finished construction rather than construction materials. The architecture of the Gulf Hotel is an easy-to-transport cottage designed according to the container format. Due to the container’s shape, the cost of transportation is almost zero. Designers have to consider irresistible funding shortages and shorter construction time, so its interior and exterior design is to be completed in a factory in Thailand, before it is shipped to Japan as a unit and assembled locally.
