本刊95/10期登载了拙文《寻回迷失的燕台》,原有一则“补记”,因邮寄失误致未赶及同时发表,今再重述于此。我们考证的主要依据是《长安客话》与《日下旧闻考》,却忘了提到《宸垣识略》。这《识略》记叙黄金台时.却说是在“永定门外”。这就不对了.因为《客话》明白无误地说是出东便门,循濠至“东南角”,金台遗迹在此(只剩一个大“土阜”了),这儿一个“东便门”通连着“东南角”,地理方位是十分清楚合理的;而若系“永定门外”,那就无法与京城的“东南角”合符对榫。由于《客话》是明代的地方官之所著,应该叙次措词不会太随便;而《识略》只是
