The “phase” word in ancient Chinese has a special usage. It is placed on the transitive verb before it is used as an adverbial. It does not mean to represent each other, but merely represents the action and behavior of one party to the other. The object behind the verb no longer appears. Mr. Lü Shuxiang noticed this phenomenon as early as in the 40’s and pointed out that “this kind of partial refers to the usage of the pre-Qin scriptures in countless numbers, the two Hans gradually increased, and Wei Jin flourished afterwards.” Mr. Lu used biased means.
