随着大学英语四、六级统考的贯彻执行,近年来大学外语教学越来越重视写作能力的培养,系列教材中安排了写作训练,课堂教学中也进行了必要的写作指导。然而,反映在统考上,作文成绩仍在低谷徘徊,收效不尽如人意,写作技能至今仍是大学外语教学的薄弱环节。这是一个令人不安和必须重视的问题。笔者认为,要提高学生的写作技能,必要前提无疑是加强外语基本功的训练,包括要求学生牢固地掌握常用的词汇、短语、句型等。但是,写作教学又是一个相对独立的
With the implementation of CET4 and CET6, foreign language teaching in universities has paid more and more attention to the cultivation of writing ability in recent years. Writing training has been arranged in series of teaching materials and the necessary writing instruction has also been conducted in classroom teaching. However, reflected in the examination, the composition performance is still hovering low, the effect is not satisfactory, writing skills are still the weak link in college foreign language teaching. This is a troubling and important issue. The author believes that to improve students’ writing skills, the necessary prerequisite is undoubtedly to strengthen the basic skills of foreign language training, including requiring students to firmly grasp the commonly used vocabulary, phrases, sentence patterns and so on. However, writing teaching is relatively independent
