In the days of writing “One Hundred Years of Solitude,” I have done many dreams. But I never dreamed that it would release a million copies a year. Millions of people decided to go to read a book that was knocked out by one person sitting in a shabby room with twenty-eight letters and two fingers, thinking it all was crazy. This is not, and can not be regarded as an acknowledgment of the author. The miracle of publishing is irrefutable evidence that people who want to read novels in the West can not count. Today, as an author, I took it with solemnity to the 100th anniversary of this very large circulation issue. Millions of books, not a million tribute to the author, but that there are millions of readers of the West waiting for the food for the soul.
