家兔孕后第6天或第9天宮腔内分别给予不同量的薄荷油,于第12天处死观察胚珠变化。给药前及处死前取血供雌、孕激素及hCG水平的测定。给药组的血浆孕酮及雌二醇水平与对照组无显著性差异,而hCG水平则显著下降。给药组组织切片镜下观察可见滋养叶细胞明显变性坏死。实验结果表明,薄荷油具有终止早孕及抗着床作用。这种作用可能与绒毛膜的损害有关,也可能由局部刺激引起子宫收缩所致。
Rabbits were given different amounts of peppermint oil in the uterine cavity on the sixth or ninth day after pregnancy, and were sacrificed on the 12th day to observe ovule changes. Blood was taken before and before sacrifice for the determination of estrogen, progesterone, and hCG levels. Plasma progesterone and estradiol levels in the drug-administered group were not significantly different from those in the control group, while hCG levels were significantly decreased. Observed under tissue microscopy in the administration group, the trophoblast cells were significantly degenerated and necrotic. The experimental results show that peppermint oil has the effect of termination of early pregnancy and anti-implantation. This effect may be related to damage to chorionic membranes, and may also be caused by local stimuli that cause uterine contractions.
