尊敬的李保东大使及夫人侣海林女士,吴为山教授及夫人吴小平女士,美中关系全国委员会欧伦斯会长,各位嘉宾,女士们先生们,能够出席此次展览的开幕仪式,我和我的夫人感到非常荣幸。我要感谢中国政府和吴为山教授将这样一个富于启发性的展览带到联合国来。这些雕塑作品蕴含的不仅是一个国家,更是全人类的灵魂。
Dear Ambassador Li Baodong and Mrs. Lv Hailin, Professor Wu Weishan and Mrs. Wu Xiaoping, Chairman of the National Committee of U.S.-China Relations President Ou Lehuan, distinguished guests and ladies and gentlemen, I am able to attend the opening ceremony of this exhibition. Lady is very honored. I want to thank the Chinese government and Professor Wu Weishan for bringing such an inspiring exhibition to the United Nations. These sculptures contain not only one country, but also the soul of all mankind.
