Objective To study the expression of Fas and FasL on the surface of T lymphocytes in patients with dermatitis caused by TCE and its role in the pathogenesis of TCE dermatitis. Methods Twelve patients with TCE edematous dermatitis, 24 healthy controls and 19 healthy controls were enrolled in this study. Flow cytometry was used to analyze the subsets of CD4 + and CD8 + T lymphocytes in peripheral blood and to detect the expression of Fas and FasL on the surface percentage. Results The median number of CD4 + and CD8 + T cells in the peripheral blood of the patients was significantly higher than that of the control group (645.75, 533.91 × 106 / L) and the non-contact control group (579.70, 310.80 × 106 / L, P <0.05). CD4 + / CD8 + cell ratio between the three groups, the difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). The expression of FasL on the surface of CD4 + T cells was significantly higher in case group (47.35%) than in non-contact control group (33.64%, P <0.05), but there was no significant difference between the two groups (P> 0.05). The expression of Fas and FasL on CD8 + T cells was significantly higher in case group (5.42%, 28.71%) than in control group (2.53%, 24.42%) and noncontact control group (2.76%, 12.47%, P < ). The expression of FasL on the surface of CD4 + and CD8 + T cells in contact control group was significantly higher than that in non-contact control group (46.81%, 24.42% vs 33.64%, 12.47%, P <0.01) The difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). Conclusion CD8 + T cells are the major effector T cells in patients with TCE edematous dermatitis. The high expression of Fas and FasL on TCE surface is associated with the occurrence of dermatitis TCE.
