By the end of 2007, the number of netizens in China had reached 210 million and will soon surpass that of the United States to become the country with the largest number of Internet users in the world. This is the data released by China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) for the 21st survey of the Internet industry. At the same time as the number of Internet users increases, the number of infringement disputes involved is also on the increase.
