西方国家的第一辆汽车是从载人小轿车开始的,也就是咱们常说的老爷车,时代久远而令人怀念;新中国的汽车是从载货车开始的,第一辆解放牌卡车在1956年7月15日下线,成就了中华人民共和国的民族汽车工业,虽历经五十年仍令人备感亲切。中国的卡车工业与轿车工业是不一样的,中国的卡车史是一部自主品牌“一统天下”的历史。由于当时的新中国百废待兴、对生产工具的需求异常旺盛,解放卡车一下线就受到追捧,而中国的载货车企业也如雨后春笋般涌现出来,在长达五十年的时间里不断演变,最终塑造出一汽、东风、斯太尔平台企业这样的本土卡车巨头。他们,是中国汽车工业的脊梁。
