In the newly built houses, the girder method is most commonly used when connecting with the gable or outer vertical wall of the old house. That is, the newly-built houses adopt pick beams and are separated from the old house foundation to leave a settlement joint. However, the building of new houses is based on the addition of concrete beams, beams or tie beams must be added, and some beams must be added to support the foundations of the beams, resulting in a complicated structure. If the superstructure loads are large, the beam must have a large section height.
