国际中国语言学学会第16届学术年会(IACL-16)于2008年5月30日-6月2日在北京大学举行。本次会议由中国社会科学院语言研究所和北京大学中文系、北京大学汉语语言学研究中心联合主办,北京语言大学、中央民族大学、香港理工大学、香港城市大学参与协办,并由商务印书馆、外语教学与研究出版社、北京大学出版社、香港海德基金会等提供赞助,会议也得到国家语委和教育部有关部门的特别支持。
The 16th Annual Academic Conference of International Linguistic Society of China (IACL-16) was held at Peking University from May 30 to June 2, 2008. The conference was co-sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of Languages and the Chinese Department of Peking University and the Chinese Linguistics Research Center of Peking University. Beijing Language and Culture University, the Central University for Nationalities, Hong Kong Polytechnic University and City University of Hong Kong jointly organized by the Chinese Press, Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, Peking University Press and Hong Kong Hyde Foundation. The conference also received special support from the State Language Commission and relevant departments of the Ministry of Education.
