田鑫:西北作家都热衷于描写家乡的那些事儿,而在您的作品中,很少看到关于村庄的描述,我就想从您的村庄开始,说说您的文学启蒙。唐荣尧:我的家乡在甘肃白银一个叫发裕堡的村子,那里紧邻黄河,河对岸就是腾格里沙漠,还是西夏故地,和许多西北的村落一样,是个普通的地方。我初中时就曾写过一篇关于家乡的作文,名字叫《我的家乡是美丽但不富裕的地方》。在我的第一部诗集《腾格里之南的幻象》中,确实有一些
Tian Xin: Northwest writers are keen to describe those things in their hometowns. In your works, you rarely see descriptions of villages. I just wanted to start your village and talk about your literary enlightenment. Tang Rongyao: My hometown is a village in Gansu Province named Yu Fat Fort, where the Yellow River is immediately adjacent to the Tengger Desert, or the site of the Western Xia Dynasty. Like many villages in the northwest, it is an ordinary place. When I was in junior high school, I wrote an essay on my hometown called “My hometown is beautiful but not prosperous.” There are indeed some in my first anthology “Illusions of the South of Tengger.”
