The Wattsford Porsi hydroelectric plant in Sweden is replacing generators and step-up transformers with a Powerformer. The new boost generator is by far the largest such generator with a rated voltage of 15 5kV and a rated capacity of 75MVA at a nominal speed of 125r min. Will be put into operation by the end of 2000
