《鶺鴒頌》是唐玄宗李隆基流傳有緒的唯一墨迹,今藏台北故宫博物院,而王寀所刻《汝帖》卷九中亦有一件開元皇帝的《鶺鴒頌》,二者文本略有不同。本文通過對二者文本的比較研究,從時間與用字上可以認定後者出于前者,但王寀所刻《鶺鴒頌》較墨迹本《鶺鴒頌》,不僅篇幅變得短小,而且體裁也作了修改,這正符合王寀在刻帖過程中不忠實原貌,任意删節割裂古迹的一貫作派。
