天津市民族中学始建于1954年,是首批市级重点中学、国家级示范学校。校区占地而积39431平方米,建筑面积35177平方米,绿化率达35%;由教学区、办公区、实验区、艺术活动区、体育运动区、生活服务区组成,拥有一流的理化生实验室、计算机房、生物标本室、特色地理教室等教学设施以及.“和谐家园”教工俱乐部和“心灵氧吧”心理健康中心。校园环境建设优雅大气,突出人文性、教育性和民族特色。学校现有在校生 2000余人,教职工260余人。
