为更好地促进塘虱鱼雌鱼卵细胞发育成熟,提高塘虱鱼催产效果,南海水产研究所在普通塘虱鱼激素的基础上,根据塘虱鱼特点与多年合成研究鱼类激素的经验,研制了经改进的加强型塘虱鱼专用激素。并在广东新兴县洞口镇都吉塘虱鱼孵化场与普通塘虱鱼专用激素进行了催产效果的进一步对比实验,结果表明;试验配方比对照组雌鱼成熟度好,易产卵且所取卵饱满,明显有光泽,产卵率、受精率、孵化率均高于对照组。
