Chinese swimming team won four gold medals and five silver medals at the Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992, causing the vibration of the world’s swimming pool. Some even speculated that there was no “secret weapon” in the Chinese swimming team. After the Olympic Games, the Olympic women’s 100m freestyle gold medalist Zhuang Yong was invited to visit Hong Kong and disclosed to the Hong Kong media: Chinese swimmers can achieve good results during the Olympic Games and are indeed related to the same “Swiftlet” health liquid drawn from natural bird’s nest. After the swimmer, including her, drank the supplements, it did enhance physical strength effectively and improved swimming performance. The rumor that Chinese swimmers used to banned the drug banned their footing and made people feel relieved that the Chinese swimmer was the first to disclose the “secret weapon” in the hands of the Chinese swimming team outside China.
