党中央提出的西部大开发战略 ,使我国西部经济迎来了实现跨越式、追赶式发展的历史机遇 ,也使西部体育的发展获得了难得的契机。体育如何切实为增强人民体质、提高国民素质服务 ;如何积极引导体育消费 ,为扩大内需、拉动经济增长服务 ?为此 ,我刊组织我院部分专家学者以笔谈的形式各抒己见。现刊发如下 ,以飨读者。
The strategy of developing the western region proposed by the Party Central Committee has given our country’s western economy a historic opportunity to realize its leapfrog and catch-up development. It has also made the development of the western sports a rare opportunity. How to effectively promote physical fitness and improve people’s quality of service? How to actively guide sports consumption? To expand domestic demand and stimulate economic growth? To this end, I organized some experts and scholars of our college to express my opinions in the form of writing-on-talks. Now published as follows to readers.
