The internal-temperature-temperature curve of the a-PdCuSi alloy was measured with the Ge Pseudo-pendulum and it was shown that there are two internal friction peaks P1 and P2 near the Tg and Tx temperature of the alloy. The P2 peak is the internal friction peak related to the amorphous crystallization, and the P1 peak may be a relaxation type internal friction peak. The sensitivity of inverted pendulums and Collette pendulums is analyzed, and the two pendulums are not suitable for measuring the internal friction peaks of a-PdCuSi-based alloys.
