当今雷达技术已进入了利用毫米波电磁频谱特性阶段。EW的ESM和ECM也随之发展起来,如同当年EW那样,很快地赶上了VHF,UHF和微波领域雷达技术的发展。很久以来,雷达一直在使用毫米波的低段,最近才扩展到中段。在雷达上应用,毫米波频段要优于微波和光电频段。当然与后两个频段相比,毫米波也存在不足之处。在性能,技术和应用上,毫米波雷达与微波雷达相比较,具有以下特征。
Today’s radar technology has entered the phase of utilizing the characteristics of the millimeter-wave electromagnetic spectrum. EW’s ESMs and ECMs have also evolved to catch up quickly with radar technology in the VHF, UHF and microwave sectors, as was the case with the EW of the year. Radars have long been using the lower millimeter-wave segment and have only recently expanded to the middle. In radar applications, millimeter wave band is better than microwave and optoelectronic band. Of course, compared with the latter two bands, millimeter-wave also has some shortcomings. In terms of performance, technology and application, the millimeter-wave radar has the following features in comparison with the microwave radar.
