China’s 200,000 kW unit has repeatedly occurred in major axis bending accident, the bending parts are generally high-pressure cylinder into the steam side of the high-pressure steam seal, and are caused by radial wear and tear during operation. Through the installation practice of 4 domestic 200,000 kW units in Tongliao and Changshan Power Plant, the author discusses the reasonable installation process of the three fulcrums of high and medium pressure rotors to ensure accurate dynamic and static radial clearance to avoid or reduce the bending accident of steam turbine shaft.
