我厂兴建于一九八五年八月,厂房不采暖,电解槽为60KA侧插自焙阳极槽,共16台,设计年产能力为2400吨。我厂地处北纬47°,东径89°,位于新疆北部阿尔泰山脉富蕴县境内,属高寒大陆性气候,气温干燥,冬季寒冷而漫长,与同纬度的黑龙江省佳木斯铝厂相比,我厂的气候以及气象条件比佳木斯铝厂还要恶劣,近年来可可托海铝厂与佳木斯铝厂的气象资料比较见表1。我厂自一九八七年三月投产以后,生产一直较为正常,一九八七年十一月二十五日西伯利亚寒流侵入可可托海,气温急剧下降了30℃,达到-53℃,为近年来气温比较低的一年,而
