这里是两位青年书法研究者对当代书法创作的评论。他们共同的特点是对现象的敏感,并且从经过选择的现象出发,提出自己的问题。提问题的方式和深度,是判断研究水平的重要标志。两篇文章所提出的问题,对于当代书法创作具有重要意义。同时,作者在篇幅所允许的范围内作出了细致的论证。这些,使这两篇文章成为目前书法评论中较为出色的篇章。然而,如何判断一篇论述的学术价值,还不仅在于此。一份研究论文,要成为一个学科思想发展中不可或缺的环节,它还必须受两个方面的检验:一是对每一命题都提出一反题;二是为每一命题都提出进一步的问题。——两者的目的是相同的,即避免由于思想沿着某一思路前行时,对原因和意义的复杂性的忽视。例如,对于这两篇文章,我们可以追问:「汉字空间情调」是否仅仅取决于文中诸点?「边缘」的定义是什么,那些是当代书法创作中的「边缘」之作,它们对今天、对未来的意义何在?再如,什么叫「个人话语」?「个人话语」与作者、与读者心理活动以何种方式联系在一起?克利的联系方式是否是现、当代艺术中的唯一方式?等等!这是我们随意列举的一些问题。对这一类问题的思考,不仅能帮助我们准确地判断两文的学术价值,也将有助于了解书法批评在当代思想活动中所处的地位。
Here are two young calligrapher’s comments on contemporary calligraphy. Their common denominator is their sensitivity to the phenomenon, and from their choice of phenomena, they raise their own questions. The way and depth of questions to ask is an important indicator of the level of research. The two questions raised by the essay are of great significance to contemporary calligraphy creation. At the same time, the author made a detailed argument within the scope of the space allowed. These make these two articles become the more outstanding chapter in the current calligraphy commentary. However, how to judge the academic value of an argument lies not only in this. A research paper, to become an integral part of the development of academic thought, it must also be tested in two aspects: First, each proposition made an anti-problem; second proposition for each proposition further problem. - The purpose of both is the same, that is, to avoid ignoring the complexity of causes and meanings as they move forward along a line of thought. For example, for these two essays, we can ask whether “Chinese space sentiment” depends only on the points in the text. What is the definition of “marginal”, which is the “edge” of contemporary calligraphy? What is the meaning of the future? For another example, what is “personal discourse”? How is the “personal discourse” associated with the author and the reader’s psychological activities? Is Cleveland’s contact method the only way in contemporary and contemporary art? And so on! Here are some of the questions we are free to list. Reflections on this type of issues not only help us to accurately judge the academic value of the two languages, but also help understand the position of calligraphic criticism in contemporary ideological activities.
