新闻回放:为让服刑人员掌握更多的文化知识,广东北江监狱去年出台了《服刑人员高等教育自学考试的奖励办法》,奖励在高等教育自学考试中及格的服刑人员。奖励办法为:考试及格一门的评为“优秀学员”;及格二门的优先评“下半年表扬”;及格三门以上的,同等条件下,优先评为“下半年表扬”和“监狱改造积极分子”。近日,北江监狱48名通过去年10月份高等教育自学考试的服刊人员分别获得奖励,其中一名通过四门自学考试的服刑人员被评为了“监狱级改造积极分子”,有望在年内减刑。据介绍,这是北江监微首次使用《服刑人员高等教育自学考试的奖励办法》来奖励服刑人员,这一做法在全国也不多见。
